Volume Control

There are several volume control configurations you can select from:

Balance and Volume
Independent volume controls
Master volume plus Independent volume controls

Our volume control(s) are audio tapered pots, not linear. This is reflects the fact that human hearing is logarithmic and not linear. The audio taper gives you a larger usable range in the volume control.

Our balance control is a linear tapered pot with a center detent.

With the Audere preamp all the pickup signals have been buffered before the volume or balance controls which results in less noise and zero frequency shifts caused by the controls.

Note: Volume and balance are enabled when in Active Mode and disabled in Passive Mode.
